Bosco Martis wishes Janhvi Kapoor credited Bosco-Caesar for Devara choreography

Choreographer Bosco Martis, of the well-known duo Bosco-Caesar, recently expressed his disappointment over not being acknowledged by Janhvi Kapoor for the viral dance moves in the song Chuttamalle from Devara: Part 1.

In a chat with BBC Asian Network, Bosco praised Vicky Kaushal for giving him public credit during promotions of the hit song Tauba Tauba from Bad Newz, saying, “That’s how people got to know I choreographed it.” He feels actors should take a moment to mention their choreographers, especially during promotional interviews.

While Bosco acknowledged that Janhvi’s performance went viral, he added, “I wish she had mentioned us during promotions, but it’s okay.” He emphasized that choreographers deserve recognition and that social media now helps in giving them visibility through behind-the-scenes content.

He further reflected on songs like Gallan Goodiyan (Dil Dhadakne Do) where he believes they weren’t given enough credit despite the complexity of choreographing it in one continuous shot with multiple actors.

Bosco concluded by saying the industry needs a structured way to ensure choreographers are acknowledged rather than forcing recognition.
